Out of Hours Emergency Service

Weekdays 18:30 to 08:00, weekends and bank holidays

If you need to call about a medical emergency when the surgery is closed please call 111. This is a 24 hours advice line provided by fully trained nurses.  They provide confidential advice on:

• Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
• Only Call 999 or visit A&E for emergencies such as loss of consciousness, severe chest pain, serious accidents or loss of blood 

111 online is a fast and convenient alternative to the 111 phone service and provides an option for people who want to access 111 digitally. 

Your needs will be assessed and you will be given advice about whether you need:

• Treat yourself at home
• Go to a Primary Care Centre

If you need face to face medical attention you may be asked to attend a Primary Care Centre.
